Daniel Paveau, who was an employee at the time, gradually bought up vines to assemble a 6-hectare champagne estate, which he divided up between his two children when he retired in 2001. For his part, Nicolas Prévoteau owned a few plots of vines bought in the 1990s.
Prévoteau-Paveau Champagne was born in 2000, when Nicolas Prévoteau married Estelle Paveau. Madame Prévoteau’s parents have gradually scaled down their operations and the vineyard has now expanded to 4.2532 hectares.
Our vines span 8 communes (Trelou, Soilly, Try, Reuil, Venteuil, Mardeuil, Cramant and Avize) stretching from the Vallée de la Marne to the Côte des Blancs, where we are based.
The vineyard has virtually equal quantities of three different champagne grape varieties (30% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir, 40% Pinot Meunier) from which we blend our various cuvées.
We strive to achieve the highest quality with all our champagnes and to ensure a continuous supply to meet your needs.
When you visit the winery, you can see the structure dug by hand directly into the chalk by Daniel Paveau.
All prices are inclusive of tax ex-cellar.
Delivery is extra. Please contact us for details.
If you live some distance away from us, we have several warehouses across France: La Fère (02), Charleville-Mézières (08), Chartres (27), Bordeaux (33), Lorient (56), Flers (61), Le Mans (72), Albertville (73), Paris (75), Fontainebleau (77), Amiens (80), Avallon (89).
A personalised label can add a wonderful touch to a special event such as a wedding, birthday, christening, First Communion, retirement, or sporting tournament, and also to a corporate gift.
Our new bottle design will be phased in, and the first bottle to be updated is the Cuvée prestige.
Only the label is changing, the champagne is still the same.
The pruning season from November to March takes up a great deal of our time.
It was a high-quality harvest. The grapes were picked with great enthusiasm in sunny conditions.
Please feel free to visit us! We would be delighted to welcome you to the vineyard. Please let us know that you will be visiting by phoning us or submitting the form below.
